What you'll need

- A machine to run it
- A Windows or Mac computer.
- A little terminal comfort
- You'll install dependencies and start the app by following the included guide. After that, a coding agent like Claude Code or Codex can help you customize it and change things to your liking.
- Your own API keys
- A Plaid API key to connect your bank and card accounts. Plaid is free for up to 10 institutions (banks, card issuers, or brokerages). Beyond that, you pay Plaid directly.
- Outside the US or Canada?
- Note: Plaid's free tier* only supports accounts in the US and Canada. Other providers may support your region, and your coding agent can adjust MyFi to use one of them.
