One developer. Apps you own.
NewcombLabs is a one-person studio. I build apps for the kinds of things people usually pay for every month, and sell them for a single, one-time price with the full source code included.
Why NewcombLabs exists
So much everyday software has turned into a subscription: a few dollars here for finances, a few more there for transcription, another plan for the household. It adds up, and your data ends up on someone else's servers. I wanted the opposite: apps that run on your own computer, that you pay for once, and that you're free to change.
A foundation, not a finished product
Each app works out of the box, but the real idea is that it's a starting point. You get every line of code, so you and your coding agent, like Claude Code or Codex, can shape it into exactly what your life needs. Add a panel, track something new, connect it to another app. Describe it in plain English and let the agent do the coding. The customize guide shows how to get started.
Keeping it simple
Because it's just me, the apps are sold as they are on the day you buy them. Updates and support aren't included, which is part of how the price stays low. If you get stuck, though, you can always reach me at [email protected].
The apps so far

Have an idea for the next app?
I'm always open to suggestions. If there's something you pay for every month that you'd rather own, or a tool you wish existed, tell me about it.
